The core concept of TIWACT is "Together we act"

We believe that no matter which country they come from, whether they are college students or teachers; parents or children, everyone has his or her own unique strength, experience and knowledge. At TIWACT, we hope to bring everyone's strength together, learn from each other, and create an educational space together.

TIWACT was established in January 2023 by two university students from Taiwan and Malawi, who started discussing education issues in Malawi online. Now (July 2023), the number of people acting together is gradually increasing, including a public primary school in Malawi, graduates of the primary school, the local community library in Malawi, civil servants from the Mzuzu Education Department, as well as Taiwanese and Malawian College students in Rawai. Everyone has different backgrounds and ways of participating, but the only thing they have in common is that we all care about education.

The principal of Chiputula Primary School shared that in order for children to study well, education must continue to innovate. Now, the principal of the school has established a library, vegetable garden and orchard on campus to achieve the goal of "innovation".

Graduates of Chiputula Primary School recalled that they had no place to borrow or read books when they were young, so they started to provide a 24-hour library in the community where children can borrow books for free.

In Malawi, many people are already concerned about the educational environment of primary school students and are taking action to provide a better educational environment for primary school students. TIWACT hopes to connect different actors, break the limitations of imagination, and create the power of "1+1>2". Together we act is our strength and our core concept.
