To foster awareness of Malawi in Taiwan and establish a Taiwan-Malawi relationship, we connect with local universities in Malawi through the Judith Foundation, organizing online exchanges in groups.
The Judith Foundation, based in Malawi, focuses on local school dropout rates, cultural exchange, and youth engagement, aiming to establish connections and communication worldwide. We are currently holding regular meetings to organize online cultural exchanges between Taiwan and Malawi. Following the establishment of a new club at National Taiwan University (NTU) next semester, we hope to recruit new members who can broaden their perspectives on cross-cultural exchange. Weekly online meetings will be scheduled to discuss culture, life experiences, gender issues, and more.
Members of the organization shared that rebuilding international relationships after the pandemic has been challenging. They expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of not only online exchanges but also leading club members to visit Malawi in the future.
